A great manga made by the guy that did Eureka Seven. It is also supposed to be getting a anime adaptation soon.

It should probably go under the manga section until there actually is an anime to show for it.
It sounds very interesting. It combines all my passions; sci-fi, violence, and little girls.

I just finished the first chapter. I haven't really read any mangas before, so it took a bit to get accustomed to it, especially with that girl's weird way of speaking.
I think I'm really going to like this though.

I always just assumed she had mental problems, although I do find her way of speaking to be cute.

I'm finding a lot of elements from other series in this.
Shiro's part as a character reminds me a lot of Eve from Needless.
After a huge natural disaster in Japan, people start to develop supernatural powers. That bit reminds me of s-CRY-ed.
Then again, I bet most of the elements are recurring bits in most stories.
Also, Senji looks and acts suspiciously like Kenpachi from Bleach.

This is really ironic Dan. I just started reading this three days ago(and early in the morn at that). I just sat here all "wtf?" in the first chapter when the Red Man killed his friends. I also wonder what's gonna happen when he finds out shiro is the Red Man.

Anyway, right now the story's in a good place(finished chapter 33 yesterday afternoon). I gotta say, this is the best dark style manga I've seen thus far(yet to compare it to Darker than Black, but even then I'd probably go with this).

Also, I cannot wait for the anime adaption(as long as it doesn't get chopped up into shit).

This made me almost as amazed by lack of censorship as when they showed nazi vampires eating babies in Hellsing Ultimate. It's purely the essence of dark style. They're surrounded by the insanity and despair every day and have to cope with it, geting by.

Ah.....amazing....

Edit: Shiro makes full bodysuits look sexier than anyone yet in anime to me.

I also enjoy how Senji can so badass at times and then nosebleed all over the floor the next moment because of chicks.

I absolutely lol'd when he's screaming at Minatsuki about her clothes and she just raises her skirt and shows him her panties, successfully getting him to shut up in a nosebleed fit. I was NOT expecting her true personality when I saw her fight with Ganta. I was in shock when she finally revealed who she truly was at the last frickin' second.

Tsunderes (Although I think she's almost more of a yandere) are awesome that way. I myself completely believed that she was "pure", but man did I get a slap across the face.

It took me a second, but that passed quickly as I felt more of a "Dammit, you screwed with my head!"
In the dark corner of my mind I had wanted to believe that she was good.
The fact that she was just so innocent in a place full of death sand sin for so long though was just too suspicious to disregard though.
I like how she continues to act like a bitch even though she has feelings. I don't know if I like such a younger character having the sadistic nature.
I would have preferred maybe one of the older characters like that, but they probably wouldn't have been able to pull it off as good.

She has both Tsundere and Yandere momments(but her Tsun side is much cuter).

On a somewhat related note, Eureka 7 turned out as an awesome anime. I only hope that they can do the same for Deadman Wonderland.
