Dominion Tank Police, when I was 15... the fact they leveled an entire city block with munitions just to try and 'neutralise' a pair of cat-burglers known as the puma sisters still puts a smile on my face to this day.

From there I went on to watch Ranma 1/2 and Cowboy Bebop.

Then later Trigun and slayers. and so on...

The first few shows I watched as a kid were Dragonball/Dragonball Z/Dragonball GT, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha and a few others I forget the names of. I always enjoyed Japanese voices with English subs because the English voice-overs sound like crap and weird.

I believe my first was Miyazaki's "Kiki's Delivery Service". And afterwords was "Akira"... Very different genres especially for an elementary school kid!!! Vampire Hunter D uncut stayed over at a buddies house one night and watched it after that it was all over for me been an anime junkie since. Back in them days they use to show Anime Saturday mornings on SciFi sometimes at night caught Armitage III and that was great. Went onto watching DBZ back in it hey day in the late '90 that was the first anime series I got into.

I persoanlly just got into watching anime at the end winter this year although I've always enjoyed games that used an anime art style like Disgaea.

So the first Anime I ever watched all the way through was Full Metal Alchemist

but the first one I tried to watch was ..hack/sign but I couldn't get into it (didn't really like the game either)
