I remember seeing something similar to that in the 90's. But yea on that topic, I would like to point out the XFL. That was short lived.

Might have been... Not sure myself. I just kind of remember it being hyped as some great new thing and then it was gone as quickly as crystal pepsi LOL.

FUCK ME, LOL, I remember that. LOL, it was a goofy ass thing too. I never got the point it was like they wanted to make the game nothing but dunks and it never worked out like that
