Fantasy RP 2

So my first one was awesome(despite me leaving after awhile), so I thought why not make another?

So...

As the morning sun rose, it illuminated a figure walking down a lonely path through the lazy hills of the Providence of Yarden. Making his way down the path was Talum, his white hair moist with the morning dew. With him he carried his sword. As he reached the peak of the hill a small village came to view in the valley below. He drew his sword, "It seems we have found it" he said to himself as he began to walk down to the village, his sword now resting upon his back.

A small girl walked down a sperate path unsure as to where she was all she did know is that she had made one wrong turn and now was lost. She saw a hill and decided to try and get a look around the area as she reached the top she took her hat off and sat down to rest she looked around and took note of the town below the hill. Guess that would be a good place to stop at and ask for directions and maybe see if anyone there can fix my claymore she mumbled adjusting the sword on her back as she stood up and made her way to the town her violet eyes shineing in the sunlight.

On a third road, a dirty kid was strolling down it with a careless look in his eyes. His green scarf flowed through the wind. "Man, the boss really wants me to do some recon on this place...I wonder why he's so afraid?" He tipped his beret back and stared at the village, peaceful and mildly silent for the moment. He tried for a while to think of exactly what made the boss ghostly pale and spill his drink.
"I don't know what his problem is, but I don't see any defences in that village...Oh well. What boss wants, boss gets."
With a flick of the wrist, he drew a knife and twirled it around a bit. He then tipped the hat over his eyes and walked forward with his hands in his pockets, whistling an old show-tune to pass the time.

As Talum entered the village he looked around to scope out the terrain and nearby buildings.
"this is it" he mumbled to himself as he his sword now began to glow.
In one swing Talum leveled the building to his right sending the nearby crowd screaming in terror.
From the rubble of the collapsed building rose a man. His right arm missing he grabbed a piece of wood and lunged at Talum only to find a red hot blade protruding from his abdomen.
"Mr. Yugara, you will now pay for what you did" Talum stated as he drove his blade deeper, "now die!"

She had just entered the town and taken her hat off allowing her bright silver/white hair to shine in the sunlight when she heard screaming? Wonder whats going on? She followed the sounds of the screams only to come across a horrific scene a house had caved in and in the rubble were two men one was holding the other up with his blade clearly showing through the other mans back. What are you doing?! she yelled her violet eyes blazeing as she could only stare at the white haired man in confusion as she wondered why he had brought violence to such a peaceful place.

As the life slipped slowly from his victim, Talum was interrupted by a cry from the crowd of people. He turned around to face the violet eyes a girl. "This does not concern you girl!" Talum retorted as he drew the blade from his victim. "Don't get involed like I have or you will regret it," he said as he walked past her, sheathing his sword.

[Marx]

"Oh shit."

The scout stared at the demolished building and its destroyer, who seemed to be cold as the arctic mountains. He was also walking right at him.

"Ah screw this! I didn't even take five steps in the damn place, and a bloody madman shows up and kills a guy! I think this would count as a 'fair assessment of its freaking defences'!

He turned around and started to hightail it out of there.

[foxyhime]

*she was waveing her arms around frantically now* but but you just killed that man what did he do to you?*she noticed the man didnt seem to want to answer her and noticed another man running in the opposite direction*Hey is it to much to get an answer as to why you brought violence to this peaceful place you inconciderate jerk?

[Drager]

On the top of a nearby church a young man in black clothes watches the three people.
"Looks like I found at least one interesting fellow today,"
The man takes a puff off his cigarette.

A young man in black clothes was leaning against the wall of the church and watching the interesting scene in front of him. He had blue eyes and blonde, spiky hair. A Guan Dao was fixed in the ground near him. He watched carefully the swordman as he leveled the building and killed the man inside. The white-haired man interested the young warrior. When he saw the girl shouting at the killer, he stood up and pulled his weapon out from the ground. He didn't really want to fight someone as tough as that guy, but he felt sorry for the girl and decided to stop him in case he tried to kill her. The warrior slowly made his way towards the pair of strangers.

*she continued to yell at the killer not careing for her own safety when she noticed someone walking towrds them. Hey is it to much to ask for an answer you big bully? Why did you just kill that man and ruin the peace of this town? Answer me!*steped in front of the white haied man and glared at him though she was slightly afraid since this man had just killed without remorse and it showed in her eyes* WELL?!

[Cross Clown]

*sigh*

A sultry figure entered the scene and seemed a bit lost. When the proper lighting came upon his lanky stature, it could be seen that he was a rather young priest. Seeing the cruel scene play out in front of him had pained him to his hearts core.

Tears streamed down his thin face, "God, what has happened here?"

"Apparently, that white-haired swordsman destroyed a building and killed the man inside. Perhaps this was some sort of revenge." The young spearman stood near the priest now, ready to rush in and strike. "I think you should take a step back, father. If that girl doesn't stop, he might get impatient and things will get nasty."

[Cross Clown]

"I cannot stand for this injustice! Those who show such disregard for human life will receive divine punishment!"

A flash of light surrounded the priest and temporarily blinded those around him.

A huge mecha had appeared bearing a large cross as it's weapon.

"Aw fuuuu..." The young warrior shut his mouth before saying the end of the sentence and rushed forward. He grabbed the girl and carried her a considerable distance away from the swordsman and the rampaging priest, hoping that none of them will chase him.

*she realized she was being carried away and looked up at the person who was carrying her* Hey wait i want to know why he killed that man let me go!*she started to struggle against the person but knew she was to weak compared to the starnger carrying her of course she knew she could get free if she used its power but she didnt want to chance it with the crazy priest in the area* why are you carrying me i can walk you know.*looked behinde the person carrying her and could see the strange object the priest had summoned and wondered if he would live*

The spearman stopped and let the girl stand, then looked right into her eyes. "Listen, I don't think he was going to answer any of your questions. Furthermore, I bet he's a rather impatient guy, so most likely I've just saved you from a one-way trip to the underworld. Of course, I don't think I have to mention that man over there." The young warrior jerked a thumb over his shoulder, pointing towards the enraged priest and his machine of destruction. "Anyway, even if he told you why he has killed that man, what would you do? This doesn't concern you at all." The man paused for a while, looking at the girl. He had a strange feeling that he should know her, however he couldn't remember where he could have seen her. "By the way, my name is Grave."

[foxyhime]

*she smiled at grave revealing her fangs* Im risa i dont know why everyone nicknamed me foxy maybe cause im clever liek a fox? Anyway nice to meet you grave*she smiled at him again revealing her fangs even more*

Talum turned to see a priest before him. "You fool. You dare to think that you can defeat me? I have been patient long enough with you people and warned you, now die!" Talum raised his palm to the priest and a dark vortex formed. Out from the vortex rose a shadow creature which began to charge the priest. Soon more creatures began to pour from the vortex as Talum walked away and opened a dark portal and entered it.
On the other side of the portal Talum could be heard... "It is done, now where is this power?"
In time, open yourself to the darkness ever more and it shall come...

"Foxy, eh? Nice nickname. And now if you excuse me, I'll go and help that priest over there." Grave assumed an offensive stance and charged towards the nearest creature. A golden aura formed around the blade of his Dao. Grave lunged towards the beast, performing a wide, vertical swing. As he slashed, the spearman shouted "Vorpal Style, Golden Thunder: Lord of Lightning!". The moment the blade hit the beast, a powerful lightning came down from the heaven and struck the shadow creature down. Grave landed two feet away from it and assumed a high offensive stance, keeping the Dao close to him and pointing the blade towards the wounded monster. "Go to Hell, demon! Golden Vorpal Dance!" Grave repeatedly stabbed the creature, piercing through it's body with each hit and finishing the attack with a vertical blow, cleaving the monster in half. The beast shrieked and crumbled into dust. Grave smiled grimly and faced the remaining creatures.

*she stood in awe of graves ability before decideing to help as she brought her hands together and focused before 5 small blue orbs appeared around her and began circling around her waist as she run over to grave* Any one hurt? i can heal you with my magic if you want?*she glanced at the preist tilting her head slightly and allowing her fnags to glint in the sunlight slightly before turning back to face grave* by the way that was really cool how did you do that?

"Thanks, but I'm okay. As for my attacks," Grave paused and carefully observed Risa's face for a few seconds before continuing, "I am an elemental warrior. You have to know that within each living being is hidden an incredible power, called mana, and those who manage to awaken and harness it, can command the forces of nature. However, it takes years of intense training to master this ability, plus using it drains your strenght, and you have to rest afterwards. My mana is attuned to the element of lightning, so I can use attacks like Golden Thunder. I'm also a good fighter - I think that my second attack was a good example of my skill."

[foxyhime]

*she tilted her head to the side cutely* i already know of mana silly how else would i be able to use the healing spell i know? I admit though those attacks of yours were still really cool but what do we do now?*looks at the preist then back at grave* should we help mister crazy? *though i dont think he will accept me for what i am she thought as she waited for graves answer wile looking around the town*

[Drager]

"Hmm more power than I thought has appeared here,"
He flicks the cigarette on the roof of the church.
"Guess I should have some fun,"
The man reaches towards his limp left arm and unlatches the bottom latch of the binding around his arm. He proceeds to pull the glove off his left hand. A single multi-colored crystal sits embedded in his palm.
"Now give me the talons you parasite," the man says at the crystal. The crystal splits into two then four then eight and continues to split until his whole hand is covered in the multi-colored crystal and each finger is pointed and curved much like a bird talon.
"Only one side we can join for now. Let us feast on the energy of these creatures,"
The man jumps down and grabs the nearest shadow creature. The creature thrashes about as its energy is forcibly sucked into the crystals.

[foxyhime]

*whips around after hearing someone yell and her eyes go wide as she lets out a slight yelp of suprise and falls on her butt at just how close the strange creature had been to her as she quickly scooted away in terror and hid behinde graves legs* H....How are those things so quite?

[cross_grave]

"Those are creatures of darkness. They appear usually during night and prefer attacking unsupecting victims. For a surprise attack, stealth is the key. No wonder they're so quiet." Grave dispatched another creature with several rapid blows, then turned towards the stranger. "You have an interesting ability. Anyway, who are you? And why are you here?"

[Drager]

"Just call me Anro,"
*Best that no one knows my actually name at least for now*
"And I'm here...Hmm I'd say to kill some time,"
Anro turns and twists his body dodging two creatures' lunges and slashing both of them. The creatures fall to the ground with small shards of crystal in the wounds which channel energy to the main crystal.

"Nice to meet you, Anro. Call me Grave." The spearman nods, then turns to face the remaining creatures. "We should finish this quickly, before they cause damage." Grave assumes an offensive stance, his aura manifesting itself again. "Vorpal Style, Golden Thunder: Lightning Edge!" Grave slashed at the nearest creature, sending a lightning in it's direction which turned the monster into ash. The spearman charged towards the few remaining monsters, slashing all that stood in his way.

[foxyhime]

*she watched in awe of the power she witnessed as she watched grave and Anro detroy the monsters when she heard another sound behinde her she whiped her head around and let out a starteled scream another on of the creatures had gotten behinde her* NO get away! GET AWAY!*she threw her hand in front of her as her fear awoke her curse and a black aura surrounded her hand and caused the creature to stop and bow down to her*

Grave turned around when he heard the scream, cursing and preparing for an attack. However, the scene in front of him was so surprising that he stopped. "What the Hell is THAT?!?" he shouted, pointing towards the black aura around Risa's arm. "How did you do that?"

[foxyhime]

*she still shook slightly out of fear but answered graves question* See i didint want to tell you this with the crazy preist around but i was biten by a vampire a few years ago not as its next meal but as a gift. It gave me its powers since it was close to death and felt my pure heart could help control the powers it gave me that why i have fangs.*continues to watch the creature in front of her as it seemed to be waiting for something*

"Riiiiiiiiight..." The look on Grave's face suggested that he started to consider this situation to be a strange one, and that he wanted to end this as fast as possible and forget about it. "Anyway, I don't think we need this fellow here." Grave rushed forward and beheaded the creature, dispatching it.

Well that works to*she careful stood up still afraid as her legs shook slightly still and made her way over to grave before she sat down again and looked at Anro then grave* So what now?

"Dunno. We could see if the priest needs some help. I'd also like to know who was that man who summoned those freaks. He certainly used the power of darkness, and that's a bad sign. Someone had to teach him how to use it, and from the look of things, that had to be a powerful sorceror... Or something worse." Grave paused for a moment, trying to re-think everything. He reached a decision and turned towards Risa and Anro. "We could try to check the identity of the person that was murdered by that guy. Perhaps we'll find something interesting. And speaking of interesting thing, what the Hell is that thing in your arm, Anro? Looks like some kind of parasite."

[foxyhime]

*she looked at Anro also with curiousity in her eyes* its so pretty Anro what is it?

[Drager]

"It's a crystal-like parasitic creature that feeds on the energy of it's host and almost anything else it touches,"
Anro takes the glove he removed and starts to put it on over the crystal mass that is his left hand. When the crystals touch the glove
the crystal retreat back into the main crystal in his palm. Once the glove has been completely put on, his arm goes limp again. He finishes
by latching the glove into place.
"And it has already drained my entire left arm of life and energy,"

[foxyhime]

*she stared wide eyed as she quickly retraced her hand as she had reached out to touch the crystal* how did you end up with such a dangerous thing embeded in your arm Anro?

[Drager]

Anro faces Risa and begins to answer her question.
"Elven years ago, when I was six I was taken from my family and used as a test subject for this little parasite being. I was the first one that didn't instantly go into a coma. That would be how I was given the destiny I follow,"
Anro then proceeds to smoke a cigarette while wearing an uncaring expression.

[foxyhime]

*she looked sad for a moment then smiled brightly* Well at least your here now otherwise that creature might have eaten me so thanks*hugs Anro and smiles at him again revealing her fangs* So do you know mister crazy preist?*points to the preist who seemed to be stareing off into space* Im afriad he might try to hurt me since he seems so crazy.

[Drager]

Anro smiles back at Risa and then looks over at the priest.
"No idea who he is, and I've never trusted priests so if he makes it seem like he'll hurt you, I have no problem taking off all the restraints I've placed on my weapon."

[foxyhime]

*she smiled at Anro again* thanks so any idea who the guy who summoned those creatures were?

Grave looks at Anro's left hand, thinking intensively. He was certain that he had heard about a man with a crystal-like parasite, but he couldn't remember anything right now. The spearman shrugged and walked towards the ruined house. "The identity of his victim might be the key to the identity of that swordsman. Can someone help me find anything useful here?"

[foxyhime]

Let me help.*she smiled finally glad to be able to help out as she walked over to the body and began digging through the mans pockets humming happily wile she did so*

Grave nodded and started digging through the ruined house, hoping to find some notes or anything like that that wasn't destroyed and could provide information about the dead man or his murderer.

[foxyhime]

*she continued digging through the dead mans pockets only to stop as an idea struck her* Hmmm i wonder...?*her eyes turn a soft red as she gently broke through the skin on the mans head with one of her now clawed nails and channeled some of the black aura to it as she tapped into the mans meories trying to learn anything about him or why he was killed*

[Redemptor]

*In meantime,at hill in the vicinity of towns boarder,man was observing smoke from distance,watching closely at buildings..villagers,and damage done to this settlement*

Too late...he left already..

*With unsatisfied tone,he turned his back at the sight and headed to footpath,leaving this area*

*stops her transer of energy and looks at grave* No luck with the guys memories he was just a normal guy apperently you had any luck finding anything grave?

[cross_grave]

"Tsk. Not really..." Grave looked at the body. "Either he was normal, or his memories were erased at the moment of death." Suddenly, Grave paused. He felt a strange presence. Someone was outside the city, someone unusual. "I think there's someone outside the city who's observing us. And I don't think he's a regular human. Shall we go and search for him? He might know something."

[foxyhime]

*she jumped up with a truly happy smile on her face* sure anything to get away from mister crazy preist*walks over to grave* ok which way do we go?

[Drager]

Anro walks over to the man's body and looks down at the man.
"Even though you have lost the ability to live, your life force holds on and it will not go to waste," Anro whispers.
Anro runs his right hand against one of daggers on his waist. Blood flows from his palm. He places his hand on the wound on the man. The remaining life force and energy in the man flows into the cut in Anro's right palm. When the man has been completely drained, Anro takes his palm away and the cut is no where to be seen.
"May the afterlife treat you well," Anro says as he closes both the man's eyelids.

[Cross Clown]

*the mecha shot it's holy beams at the horde of demons*

(Clown... Don't you have an impression you're a bit too late?)

[Cross Clown]

(bah, no one cares)

*the robot kept shooting out beams of piercing light*

[Redemptor]

(Just go with the flow people....or against it)

*while he was heading back to nearest city,his head was filled with nearly obsessive thoughts*

Must get him...he can't escape forever..

Grave looked towards the rampaging priest. "I think we should run away from him as fast as we can. Otherwise, we may not make it out of here alive." A strange grin appeared on Grave's face. Tsk, look at him. A priest who was shouting about murder and injustice a while ago is now demolishing everything in sight. How ironic.

[foxyhime]

*nods now very afraid that the preist would attempt to kill her she quickly runs to catch up with grave* So grave who is this guy you sensed out side the town? Im eager to show you more of what i can do.*smiles and runs ahead to try and catch the person they were heading towrds forgetting that the person could be stronger than her as she left grave behinde her she wanted to prove that she would be able to help instead of always getting in trouble*

Grave dashed forward and caught up to Foxy. "I have no idea who this guy is, but I hope he's not another homicidal freak. He's pretty tough though, I can tell that by his aura." For a moment, Grave was thinking about what he had sensed. He clearly wouldn't have sensed this guy unless he had used his "abilities". Please, don't let him be a paladin!

[Cross Clown]

"hey I can read your thoughts you know."

The priest appeared behind Grave without taking a step.

"There were still some demons around so I was just using a homing laser to get rid of them all"

[Drager]

"Stupid Priest, I still had business to attend to here, but here he is destroying everything. I suppose it's time for me to trace the originally killer,"
Anro looks around only seeing chaos of blown up buildings and people running in chaos. Anro walks into the church, the one place utterly untouched. He locks the door behind him so that no one casually walks in.
"Alright Rosabella it's time to follow the killer,"
A tendril made of crystals comes out of Anro's right palm and forms a large circle that floats in mid-air.
"This is probably going to cost me all the life force I took from that man, but it should pay off in the end,"
Anro proceeds to run his palm on the inside edge of the crystal ring coating with blood. When the inside part of the crystal has been completely coated in blood, red strings run from one side to the other side of the circle making a portal like structure. Anro looks back towards the door.
"I'll see you again Grave and Risa. Though next time we might be on opposing sides,"
Anro steps through the portal and appears in the area Talum ran into. The portal Anro created in the church explodes bathing the circle in blood and the crystals embed themselves in the walls.
"This place seems familiar, but something doesn't feel quite right,"

[Redemptor]

*path he was following,was leading through small forest*
*not yet knowing,he was being followed,he marched in*

*she looked around and spoted a path with footprints on it leading towrds a forest* Come slowpoke*waves to grave to hurry up as she smiled and ran after the person they were following leaveing grave behinde again and again forgetting the person could be stronger than her*

(Uh, grave, you know I stopped right? homing lasers to get rid of all the demons? plox?)

(one I'm not grave. Two my whole post makes since because you destroyed the town, homing lasers wouldn't go around buildings to kill demons but rather go through them.)

"Grrrr!" Grave was slowly getting annoyed. Risa didn't seem to take the danger seriously. When he heard the priest, he stopped and turned around, an expression of bewilderment on his face. "Oh really? Anyway, you can come with us if you want. Just try not to be so... Impatient with people who have problems with their religiousness." Grave turned his head and saw that Risa was now running towards the forest. "If you excuse me, I have to catch someone." Grave tensed and dashed towards her, moving at incredible, almost inhuman speed. When he caught up to Risa, he decided it's time to explain something to her. "Listen you foolish girl, I told you he's tough! If you had to fight him alone, he'd turn you into minced meat! Stay close to me and don't rush so eagerly towards someone who can be an enemy. And by the way, I think that the priest is coming with us."

[Redemptor]

*while they were entering forest,somewhere,ahead of them,deeper into the woods,he was marching...he suddenly stopped,turning his head slowly to the side,like he would try to look at road behind him.His eyes narrowed*

I'm being followed...somone from him...? No...he wouldn't.

*with those words,he walked down from footpath,into more wild area,with lots of trees and bushes*

*she looked down for a moment then back at grave*I just want to prove I will be able to help you instead of always getting in the way. As for the priest so long as he leaves me alone and accpets me for what I am im fine.*she looked around again the pointed towrds the person they were following* If we want to catch him we better hurry hes getting further and further away from us.

[Cross Clown]

*looks at foxy*

"demon! Be gone!"

The priest brought out a silver cross, and stuck it close to her face.

"I'm kidding, I'm not anal retentive you know? Keep that as a present though"

*Sun was slowly going down from the sky,while shadows started to grow*

Persistent...

*he muttered to himself in annoyed tone*
*he finally reached a clearing,it wasn't big.Just a medium sized area filled with grass,and surrounded with tress,few stones resting on ground,here and there,with one bigger located at corner of this place*

[Marx]

"So, you only found out this much about that town so quickly? Get back in there."
The scout was dumbfounded. He had just seen a man killed, and a building topple for no apparent reason. He shuddered at the thought of going back.
"Boss, I'm not the bravest or smartest in this group, but shouldn't that be enough information about it? As in it's "The Village of Killers" or something?
The boss only sharpened his blades on a rock and not meet his eyes. "All I got from your recon mission is that someone blew up a building, and and killed just one guy. There is not a mention of guards, battlements, beasts, mages, firements, or even a damn streaker!" The Boss then quickly stand up and pinned the scout to the ground, knife to his throat. "Now, I want you to go back and do your damn job. And if you screw this up, I'll rip out your stomach and string it up on the tents. Do you understand me?" The Scout could only grunt in agreement, sweating like crazy. "Good." The Boss got off of him and went back to his knife sharping. The Scout started to leave back to the town, but before he cleared the trees, the boss called back to him for a last time. "I'm going to be sending Obind and Magus with you, just incase something like before happens again.."
"Right boss." The Scout replied, and continued to walk back to town.

[Cross Clown]

"The sun already came up ya know? Shouldn't you be hiding now?"

"Apparently she's immune to sunlight because she's half-human." Grave examined the footprints of the man they were chasing. They were still fresh, but that person was apparently moving quite fast. "Listen, we have to move as fast as we can if we want to catch him. I'll lead the way, if that's ok with you." Grave ran forward, keeping an eye on the footprints. Geez. What a day.

Grave sighed and smiled, hoping that he'll manage to deal with this situation in a civilised manner. "I'd like to apologise for my friend. She's a little..." Grave glanced towards Risa, the look on his face suggesting that he'll turn her into minced meat afterwards. "Impatient. Now, can we sit down and talk for a while? We would like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind." The spearman took a few steps towards the center of the clearing. "My name is Grave, by the way."

I don't care whether those are Church matters or not, but that bastard we met in town, the one you are apparently after, attacked us and ruined a fine day. The arc of energy twisted as it flew towards the ground, and Grave carefully analysed the pattern. "What an idiot. He should have known that teleportation always leaves a trail." Grave turned his head towards Risa. "I don't think I'll be able to pin-point his location, but I might be able to reactivate the portal and stabilise it, if you help me that is. Also, this trip will be very dangerous, and we might have a very rough landing, but at least we'll be around 100 metres or so away from that guy, so we'll be fairly close. At least, I think we'll be."

I'm pretty certain I've heard about that parasite he's fused with, but for some reason I can't remember the details. Anyway, come here and help me. You'll have to concentrate your energy on the portal after I'll reactivate it." Grave turned towards the circle of burned sand and made a few complicated gestures with his hands. The circle flashed with faint, white light. "I'm ready start."

Grave pulled out a small bottle with strange, green liquid inside of it. He opened it and put some red powder inside. The contents of the bottle rapidly changed colors, turning completelly yellow. Now it's gonna get reeeeeaaaaaly nasty, hehehe... Grave threw the bottle at the gate.

Grave raised his Dao and assumed an offensive stance. "Well, we'll have to cut it all to pieces!"

His hair, previously blond, was now white and somewhat spiky. The whites of his eyes turned black, and his iris were now yellow and cat-like. He was wearing black clothes, made of something that looked like leather, but after a closer look, it would appear to be made of shadows. He also wore a pair of clawed gauntlets made of some strange black metal. On his back, a pair of huge black wings appeared. The creature grinned, revealing a pair of sharp fangs. Ignoring Risa, he examined his new form.

*the black aura around her wings began to fade as they slowly opend reaveling her second form her hair was now jet black one of her eyes remained violet but the other was red as blood she was now as tall as grave as the tatered remants of her now way to small outfit littered the ground some would have said she was a goddess if the fangs now sticking out past her lower lip and claws that looked to be covered in years of blood had not been showing* Now then I think its time I stop acting and start fighting*she waved her hand as a massive pulse of black energy shot outwards in all directions not hurting grave but it blew the walls out and anything that had been above the water besides herself and grave was immediatly shreded to small bloddy chunks*

He was grinning - it's been hundreds of years since he had experienced being alive, and it certainly was an incredible feeling.

*she shruged as an aura surrounded her body for a moment before fadeing as she was now clad black armor that was specialy cut in places to tease* So then how should we get the templar? Seems if we get ahold of him he will just teleport away again any ideas?

But right now we have to face another problem: we don't know where he is, so we should start searching for him immediatelly. I don't want to kill you, but you are far too hot-headed for you own good. I'm far more experienced than you, so I'll be the leader." Ranah closed his eyes and concentrated, searching for the Templar's aura. It'd much easier if I knew his name... Ah, there he is. Ranah opened his eyes and walked away, facing the Templar's current position.

Ranah turned to face the Templar. Judging by his face, he was surprised by his words, but as the man spoke, his usual expression returned. Altough he didn't show it, the part about the servant sent by the God puzzled him a little. Interesting. I wonder what exactly did he mean... Ah, nevermind. Actually, I might benefit from this... This train of thought was interrupted by the Templar, who prepared himself for combat. Ranah carefully observed him, then sighed. "So small. So insignificant. So ignorant. Yet so arrogant. You do not understand anything I've said, child. You cannot purge me, for I am already a being that is far more pure than you on both physical and astral plane. And I am not a hellspawn. Anytime you come across something superior to you, in your arrogance you call it demonic, because it hurts your stupid pride. You cannot accept the fact that those who truly can be called divine are different from you or your ideals. I am neither demon nor angel, yet I have the potential to become both. The light won't save you, child, for I wield the power of light as well." Ranah rose up a little and stayed in mid-air. A bright aura surrounded him. He smiled and pointed one of his arms in the Templar's direction. An incredible amount of energy gathered in front of him, forming a small ball of light and fire. "Before we start, I would like to hear your name, child. I want to know the name of the first opponent I'm facing after all these centuries... After all, you know mine. And Risa, step back. I shall deal with this little pest myself."

Ranah sighed. The aura he just built up disappeared as he landed on earth. He looked at the city of Az'Mon, scratching his head. "I'm beginning to really hate this guy." For a while, he seemed to be lost in thought. In fact, he was having a conversation with a certain person.

Looks like you didn't have much luck with him as well.

I wasn't cautious. And now we have to enter the lair of the beast. Be careful, kid.

I will be.

Suddenly, Ranah's body flashed with golden light. When it disappeared, it became clear that Grave once more took control of his body, transforming into a regular human being. "Get up, Risa. Looks like well have to enter the city, so try to look and behave like a regular human." Grave formed a seal with his right hand, summoning his Dao. With his weapon resting on his shoulder, he set out, walking along the path that led to the city gates.

"Well, you'll have to deal with it, otherwise you won't be able to get close to the city. There are many people in there that are just like this Templar, and even Ranah can't face all of them now. At least, not yet."

"Most likely. However, this city isn't a regular one. It serves as Church's fortress, so it's full of monks, priests, templars, paladins and all kinds of lunatics. We mustn't show who we are, and we have to avoid that Templar at all costs. If he reveals our identities, we're done for. Therefore, we have to find another way to gain info. Not to mention the fact that getting inside might be the biggest problem."

"That's what I intend to do. However, our friend might have informed the guards about us... Altough it doesn't seem that he takes us seriously, so there is a chance he won't tell too much people about us."

Grave sighed and followed Risa. "You really have to control that temper of yours. If your eyes flash like that and somebody notices them, we're dead meat." He made his way towards the main gate, hoping to finally find some answers.

When they approached closer they could see that first problem to pass for any invader was deep moat,followed by tall and thick walls,with guards patrolling on top of them,here and there those were supported by solid towers,in which,most likely,marksman's were standing on guard.
Frontal path was leading thru stone bridge,ended with draw-bridge.
Behind it,there was large gate,supported by two watch towers.Guards in armors with pole axes were standing on each site,checking anyone that was acting suspicious.
City alone was mostly impressive,build on small hill,in shape of circles,each of them was on higher level of ground,and so.All craftsman,townsfolk and traders were residing in first zone.All taverns,inns as well as marketplace could be found in here.
The most pleasing thing for visitors,was sight that everyone here behaves in good manner,there are no quarrels,no baggers,streets are clean.Only sometimes louder echo of joy and laughs come out one of taverns.
Areas are constantly patrolled by guards as well as higher grade militias from brotherhoods,that had their headquarters on higher level of city.That area was surrounded by another wall,and off-limits to anyone without permission documents,or sign in at registry for new recruits.From distance,it was looking like few monastery's,and bigger guard towers.As well as couple more plain in shape buildings,decorated with crests of brotherhoods owning them.Above that,there was another level,separated with yet another wall.Those were residents for city heads,cardinal and other top personalities.All focused around small temple at very top of hill.

Right right control my temper*she sighed before looking up at the city walls truly amazed as her eyes sparkled with amazment as how amazing the city looked before she looked at grave* Think we should enter?

"Yeah. Act naturally. We don't want to attract attention." Grave reached for the blade of his Dao and made a barely visible movement with his hand. The Dao split into 10 small segments, all connected by chains. Grave packed the Dao into one of the biggest pockets in his jacket and walked towards the gate. He looked calm and innocent, and wasn't walking very fast. People who are hasty always look suspicious.

"They certainly have both." Grave smiled as he spoke. It wasn't his usual, sarcastic grin, but a genuine, happy smile. A nice smile helps to make a good impression. Grave was getting close to the gate. He hoped that no one will bother himself with a pair of tired adventurers. Man, this was a long day.

Seeing that Risa was barely able to walk, Grave sighed and stopped for a moment to help her. "Come on, I can carry you to an inn." He let her climb on his back and carried her into the city.

Grave was getting close to the gate. With Risa half-asleep on his back and his weapon hidden in pocket, he wasn't looking like a threat to anyone. Altough he seemed to be fairly energetic, anyone who looked closely into his eyes would notice that today he had enough trouble, and was seriously thinking about a rest. He gave the guards a look that was saying something like: I've had a bad day, my companion's too tired to walk or talk, I don't want to cause trouble and if you just let me in, I'd appreciate that.

"Understood." Grave entered the city. After a few minutes of searching, he found a nice and quite cheap inn. He got himself and Risa a room with two beds, carried the girl into it and put her on one of the beds. After that Grave left the inn and wandered around for a bit. Despite the fact he didn't really liked the Church, he had to admit it was an impressive city. After a while, Grave has found the market. Walking around it, he managed to notice a smithy. Well, we'll have to visit this place tomorrow... Hmm, it's getting late. Better get back to the inn. When Grave returned, Risa was still asleep, and apparently wasn't planning on waking up soon. He lay down on the second bed, thinking about the situation. Suddenly, he heard Ranah's voice.

I see that everything's ok so far...

Yeah, but we have another problem. I don't think we'll find the information we seek here... We'll have to enter the higher levels.

I see. Do you have any ideas? I could get there by force, but for some reason I don't think that it'd be a very wise move...

Oh, really? Anyway, this might be our backup plan, since I haven't come up with anything better...

Grave was thinking about this problem for about two hour before he fell asleep. This was a difficult day for him.

*she opend her eye slightly to make sure grave was fully alseep before she smiled and changed her outfit to include a black mask and soft black socks as her eyes sparkled with mischife as she snuck out the window hideing in the shaodws as she silently made her way towrds the upper level siletnly cheering to herself for thinking of this plan she even disguised her self as a ninja all full black clothing and mask this had to be the best idea she had yet* grave will be so proud *she whispered to herself as she got closer to the upper level of the city*

Grave was dreaming. Since birth, he was always having the same dream. In this dream, he was sitting on a cliff, watching an ocean. The sky was clouded and the wind was blowing. And he wasn't sitting alone.

"Hey."

Ranah didn't answer. He watched the horizon,and looked worried.

"I see that you are ok."

"Something happened, or is about to happen?"

"I don't know. But I can't shake this feeling of dread... You feel this too, don't you?"

"... Yes. But what in the world..."

Grave paused. For a moment, he was looking at the horizon. Then he slowly turned towards his companion. The Spirit of Fire did the same thing.

"Oh, Hell no."

"Damn that girl. Let her have it."

"WHAT?!?"

"I know what you're thinking. Listen, only an idiot would try something like that. I can't allow you to die. Besides, you've just met her. Why should you risk so much for someone that means so little to you? Anyway, this body needs to rest, and we're not sure whether Risa really did something stupid or not. And don't forget that she's half vampire, and a very unusual one. She can take care of herself."

*she smiled to herself as she managed to sneak into one of the more well gaurded librairys of the upper city despite being well gaurded most of the gaurds were bored and unfocused and had been chatting amogenst themselves she had heard two talking about a few books that had just been brought in yesterday by a templar she smiled as she found the books that had been brought in and quickly took them as she turned and melted back into the shadows makeing her way back to the inn hopeing these books had what the info they needed*Wait til grave sees this i bet this will prove i can be helpful in certain situations*she whispered to herself as she waited for a gaurd to go by before jumping over the wall that seperated the upper city from the area the inn was located*

Ranah paused for a moment, then sighed.

"Sorry, it seems I didn't put enough thought into this sentence. She'll get herself into trouble."

"That's the smallest problem."

"I know. There's no time to waste. Will you take care of this?"

"Yeah. You can't show up here."

Grave woke up quickly. He noticed the open window and that Risa's bed was empty. That's enough. If she returns we're going to have a serious talk. Grave sat up and pulled out his Dao. He quickly assembled his weapon and put it close to him, in case he had to fight his way out of there.

*she saw the inn and smiled widely she had made it out without running into any trouble she quickly jumped up to the window of their room and landed with out a sound very proud of what she had accomplished*

"Idiot." Grave certainly wasn't proud of Risa. He stood up and approached the girl. "Now, sit down and don't say a word. Do you have any idea how dangerous this little trip of yours was? And do you realise that if anyone saw you enter this inn, you've doomed us both?" Grave paused for a moment. Suddenly, he noticed the books Risa was carrying. "Great. If anyone finds this, we're dead. Not to mention the fact that they're most likely useless. Listen, we're looking for info about something that happened about 14-16 hours ago. Really, are you completely unable to think? We can't leave them here, and their owner will most likely notice that they were stolen. He'll send people to find those books, and strange travelers are the most suspicious people in such situations. Just great."

*she glared at grave her eyes remained normal but she became very upset*I got these for a reason I want to know who it was four years ago that sent a bunch of templars to wipe out my family and the entire town we lived in!*she became livid she was very very upset at him right now of course she could think but she had done this for personal reasons she felt grave would be proud to hear how she had managed to sneak in and not be noticed she glared at grave again before sitting down on her bed as past painful and horrific memories surfaced she simply stared at the books not moving as she tried to control her emotions and bury the memories that haunted her to this day as she glanced at grave out of the corner of her eye*Let them come I have nothing to live for anyway*she turned away from him again as she began to cry*

Grave sighed. So that's how it is. She's reckless and careless, but it's because of her past...

Saying "I'm sorry" was always a bit difficult for him. "Please understand me. We are in the den of the beast. Altough your performance was impressive, you've put us all in great danger. Please don't do that again. I'm really sorry. If you want, I can help you deal with those who killed your family and friends."

Grave sighed. He spent the next hour hiding the books to make sure that nobody finds them. Then he went back to his bed and fell asleep. His dream returned, but neither he nor Ranah said a word. They were thinking about their own past, and their reasons to seek revenge or redemption.

*Xentos just raised slightly his head,hood uncovered part of the face,it was covered with steel mask,one grey eye was visible,looking at the executioner...There was no anger in it,nor hate..for him,it was just normal result of irresponsibility.
Slightly after that,blue flame covered his body,burning intensively...his all muscles stretched,it was great pain,but he didn't made a noise.
Two left guards just made a preach,as tormented prisoner turned into ash,without trace*

*her dream was strange she saw an odd building in the city it looked very well gaurded when she noticed a light in on of the windows she got closer to see what was there she saw a person chained to the wall on a strange cross as another began chanting before he turned around her eyes went wide as a massive flash sent her flying as she shot up with a slght gasp of fear she was covered in a cold sweat and franticaly looked around the room truly terrified she had no idea what she saw but it scared her as she pulled her knees to her cheast and simply sat there her eyes wide in fear as she franticaly looked aroud the room never noticeing the sun was already beginning to rise* i...i dont know what that was but it was scarey and so lifeike*she whispered as she began to shake in fear unsure of what her dream even meant*

Ranah moved. He stood up and watched the horizon carefully.

"Is something wrong?"

"Somebody just used a powerful fire spell. I think our friend was executed."

"Damn it. This means the church knows about us. We have to leave this place a soon as possible."

Grave woke up. He noticed that Risa was frightened. "Risa, what happened?"

*she turned to face grave still quite afraid*I i dont know i had an odd dream showing someone being killed but when the person who had helped execute the traitor turned around i found it was me stuck to the cross being burned alive along with you.*she took several shakey breaths to try and calm herself* I figure someone used some powerful magic cause the only time i have dreams like that are when any sort of powerful magic is used and im asleep.

Grave stood up. "Risa, get all of your stuff. We're leaving this city. I no longer care about the thing we may find here." Grave took out the books from the place he had hidden them in and sighed. "I'm afraid we'll have to leave them here. Ranah was sure that the man who died last night was that templar we've met. This means that the church will search for us. If we take the books, they'll send paladins and hunters to track us down, so we have to leave them here." Grave looked at Risa once more. "When you're ready, I'll call Ranah. He'll open a portal to get us out of here."

*she nodded* ok just a minuet*she surrounded her nad with a soft blue aura and tapped both the books learning all she could from them including who had ordered the attack on her family*Ok im ready lets go.

Grave changed places with Ranah without any problems. When he completely transformed into the Spirit of Fire, the mage opened a small portal through which both he and Risa left Az'Mon. While they were inside of the portal, Ranah asked Grave a question, to which Grave responded with a spiritual equivalent of a nod.

Far away, near one of the biggest cities in the north, a certain blue-haired girl had just entered a small cave. She sat in front of a small lake and concentrated, starting to meditate. Suddenly, she felt a wave of heat. She turned around and saw two strange persons: one strange-looking girl and a winged humanoid, who was busy sending a fire spell through a portal, apparently to destroy the trail he left. Despite the fact that the situation looked very strange, the blue-haired girl merely sighed.

"I see you've brought something with yourself this time, Ranah."

Ranah finished his job and turned towards the woman.

"Oh, really? Anyway, I don't think you know each other. Lena, this is Risa, a half-vampire I've met recently. Risa, this is Lena, a friend of mine and a powerful sorceress that lives nearby. Now if you don't mind, may I ask how are the preparations going?"

"I've found a way to separate you and Grave even sooner than you could have expected. It can be done in a month. However, you will have to spend this month in a state very similiar to hibernation."

"I see."

Altough Ranah didn't show this, the idea excited him. But he had to ask someone first. However, the answer came before he managed to ask the question.

Ranah turned to face Lena. When he spoke, determination ringed in his voice.

"When can you do this?"

Lena smiled.

"We can begin right now."

*she looked between the two throughly confused as to what they meant and when she heard sperate Ranah from Grave she decided to step in* whoa whoa hold it wouldnt sperateing Ranah from Grave normaly be a bad thing? You know like extream pain or the fact that for all we know their souls could be intertwined?You sure this is such a good idea?*she looked between Ranah and Lena her eyes sparkled with worry and curiousity*

Ranah sighed. He wondered how he could explain everything to Risa in a way she might understand. "Listen carefully, Risa. When the ritual will be performed, Grave's body will be put in a stasis, so it wont be able to feel anything. As for our souls..." Ranah paused for a while and scratched his head. "Do you remember what I said when I mentioned Cyrus before? He could manipulate souls and control life and death. Somehow, Lena mastered a similiar kind of magic, so she'll be able to break our fusion, altough a certain link will remain. And believe me, both Grave and I will benefit from this. Grave has demonic blood in him, and thanks to that, his magical powers surpass those of even the mightiest human sorcerors. However, most of his mana is used to suppress my immense spiritual power, so he seems to be an average caster. As for me, I can't use Grave's body effectively. He's a human while I am not. To gain the power I need, I will have to build myself a body from elemental fire. I can do this only after we've been separated. Also, we both agreed that we have different goals, so we can't miss such an opportunity."

*she tilted her head sidewaysstill confused but shruged* well ok if you say so just so long as it dosent hurt you two i wont get involved just becareful ok?*she sat down in a meditative postion as she levitated of the ground slightly as a light blue aura surronded her*

Ranah watched Risa for a moment, then sighed. "Risa, I think you didn't get one thing. Right now, I'll enter a state of hibernation and remain in it for one month, sealed away from this world. I'm afraid you can't remain here, the local people are quite... Unfriendly towards strangers, especially those who are only half-human. This may be the last time you've seen me or Grave. Farewell, Risa."

In the meantime, Lena finished preparations. "It's ready, Ranah. Stand in the middle of the lake and we can begin." Ranah nodded and walked towards the lake. He stepped on it's surface and easily made his way towards the middle. When he reached the center, he turned towards Lena and nodded. The sorceress concentrated and said a fedw words in the strange language of the spirit realm. The water started to glow. Suddenly, it raised and covered Ranah's body, transforming into a gigantic crystal that plunged into the ground below it, disappearing from sight. Lena sighed and turned towards Risa. "Come, child. The noise must have alarmed those who live nearby. Soon people will gather here. We must go." The sorceress started walking towards the exit.

I have no idea what was happening when it ended, so I'd say someone should recap it in a new thread and players can continue as their old characters or start new ones. That's my impression of things, anyway.
