Needs help

Okay so I'm trying to upload a zelda pic but whenever I click upload image it says only image/png, and that sorta stuff. What do I need to do to successfully upload it ?

Open the picture in MS Paint and do "Save As" and under file type, choose the format of your choice. I suggest JPEG format due to it's tendency to not lose color information.
